Understanding your project before any major commitment.
Discovery Call
Free
A short, no-obligation conversation to understand your project, your site, your budget and what you're trying to achieve. It's also where we check that BimExa is the right fit for you.
Consultation
1 Hour · Paid
A dedicated working session where we dig into your project properly — site constraints, budget reality, approval pathway and design direction. You leave with genuine clarity and professional input, even if you go no further with us.
Fee Proposal
Following the consultation, we prepare a clear, fixed-fee proposal setting out scope, inclusions, exclusions, deliverables and stages — so there are no surprises later.
Agreement & Onboarding
Once you're happy to proceed, we formalise the engagement with a signed agreement and welcome you into our client systems. Your project officially begins.

Design
Where your project takes shape, tested at every step.
Briefing & Site Analysis
We capture your detailed brief and gather everything we need about your site — assessing feasibility, constraints, zoning, setbacks, BASIX and the right approval pathway from the outset.
Concept Design
We develop a first design direction, with options tested against budget, structure and buildability — then present it to you clearly, so you can give informed feedback.
Design Development
The chosen direction is refined and fully resolved. Where in scope, interiors, joinery, materials and selections are developed and documented as part of one coordinated design.

Deliver
Turning design into a buildable, approved reality.
Documentation
We prepare full BIM-based construction documentation — coordination-ready and detailed enough for your engineer, certifier and builder to work from with confidence.
Approvals
We coordinate your CDC or DA submission and finalise BASIX and compliance, guiding the documentation through to approval.
Handover & Beyond
Your complete documentation is delivered, ready for construction. Where you'd like us to stay involved, this is where we transition into Project Coordination — working alongside your builder through the build itself.

A note on consultants
Throughout the design and delivery phases, specialist consultants — such as structural engineers, certifiers and surveyors — are required on most projects. We engage and coordinate the right consultants on your behalf, so the project stays in capable hands, while their fees are paid directly by you. This keeps their costs transparent and separate from ours, and ensures the people working on your project are ones we trust to deliver to the standard your project needs.
